Take Pride in Your Heritage

Miss Czech-Slovak Missouri Pageant
June 6 & 7, 2014
Sugar Creek Slavic Festival

The Board of Directors of the Miss Czech-Slovak Missouri Pageant would like to extend an invitation to all of the young women in Missouri, of Czech and Slovak descent, to participate in a very rewarding experience and an exciting weekend.

Each young woman who participates in the Miss Czech-Slovak Missouri Pageant will receive a greater appreciation for her family’s ancestry and unique heritage. The participating young women will meet individuals from throughout the state of Missouri and beyond who proudly share this strong connection. In reality, this is an opportunity for the entire family.

The Pageant will be composed of four areas of competition: Private Interview, Kroj Modeling, On-Stage Interview, and Talent Competition.

The winner of the Pageant will receive both prizes and scholarship funds and will go on to represent the State of Missouri at the Miss Czech-Slovak National competition in Wilber, Nebraska.

The entire state can share in the pride that Missouri born Jennifer Salva became the National Queen for 2012-2013 as she represented the state of Kansas. Jennifer is excited about the creation of the Missouri State Pageant and wishes to establish a dialog with each contestant to answer all of her family’s questions.

The Board of Directors promises that each contestant and her entire family will enjoy the pageant experience and the two-day Sugar Creek Slavic Festival.
